So many people have asked how we are doing. As we've said earlier, we live for God's glory. He has a purpose in everything He orchestrates. We find great peace in knowing this.
Just recently, we ran across this song by Mercy Me. The lyrics really speak of what we are going through. Many have heard this song, including us. But at this time in our lives, it really speaks to us.
It is our hope that, as you listen, you can find the Peace that we have.
To God be the glory.
"Bring The Rain"
I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain
So I pray
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Discharged

Hey Tanya, love this song. Thought you might like this website audreycaroline.blogspot.com Todd Smith, singer from Selah and his wife, Angie, lost their baby girl...you can read their full story on the side link at Angie's blog. Tanya & Jason...even though this is no little rain, but a huge storm the Lord has given you all that you need. Tanya, you made the statement recently that God has choosen Eli for you and Jason. That touched MY HEART deeply. Your faith and strength makes us all stronger in our faith . You and Eli have blessed US already...Love you!!!
Nothing is wasted in His Kingdom. Whether birth defects or early deaths, He promised to use them for His glory. Blessings on you as you help others focus on the Prince of Peace. I remember hearing once: "God can either calm the storm, or calm His child in the storm." Thanks for choosing to ride this one out for the glory of God.
By the way, I loved Paige's "dancing" in her pew to the sounds of the IHS choir during church. What a joyful spirit the Lord has given her!
The Lord has a way of bringing those who HE FEELS can handle and submit to His calling to "the rain" which may not be handled as well by others... clearly HE is pleased by your faith and submission to Him. We all can learn from you both. Blessed is this gift of Eli, for he is bringing those who he doesn't even know yet, back to the Lord to sing His praises. You are in our prayers, cousins.
