Eli's smile

We walked into Eli's room last night to find a WONDERFUL surprise! His naked face. This is the first time we were ever able to see his face without any tubing. No breathing tubes. No cannula. No feeding tubes. It was a beautiful sight! See for yourself:

Love it! Seeing a video of him smiling and moving brought so much more wetness to my eyes than the still photos. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the note. It's good to see Eli's cute little face tube free! We are familiar with the reflux issues- we are just watching because he did really well the 1st time with his feeds; the 2nd time (after his accidental set back) they increased them much quicker & the placement wasn't quite right when they checked it; we just want to make sure he really needs it before he stays on the meds long term. The Cardiology ARNP today said he didn't seem to need the Reglan, but they're keeping the Zantac at least until the po feeds.
We will continue to pray for Eli and his progress. Hope you are able to stay rested.

Beautiful! That brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure if I was viewing it from home rather than from work, I would have cried!
