Christmas Tree Lane, Anyone?

We're trying to gather up as many friends as possible to walk Christmas Tree Lane next Wednesday, the 10th. Would you join us? If you've never done it, it's a great time, and the old saying is true... The more, the merrier. Dave, you're expected to lead the singing, again!

Wednesday, the 10th is the night they close off the street to cars, and it's all foot traffic. The weather man is calling for rain, so we'll see what happens. If it stays clear, we'd love to see as many friends as possible. Bundle up, grab a hot chocolate, and bring all the kids. They'll love it, too! We promise you'll have fun.

We are definitely interested - we were talking about doing that too! It just depends on when Tad gets off work. What time are you meeting and where do you park?

Kimberly, it looks like it opens at 6:00. When we did it last time, we all met for a bite (we did In-N-Out) then headed over there when we were done eating. Everything's still very flexible, so we could adjust to meet the schedule for as many as possible. I think shooting for 7:00 for the walk would work out well, with kids and all. It's 2 miles, so it would be just over an hour at a casual stroll.

We park cars on the south end, but this year we'll also leave cars on the north end for pregnant mommies. :)

We are already going with my parents and would love to meet up with y'all as well. We are going to go more like 6 o clock though, because the kids go to sleep about 7. If you end up going earlier let us know, and we will try to coordinate. :-)

We have Jason's work Christmas party that night, which includes walking down the lane. Maybe we'll run into you guys!

It looks like it's going to be 6:00, after all. It just works for more schedules than 7:00 does. The plan was to meet at the train trestle at Shields and Van Ness. That's the beginning of the route, and a notable land mark for finding each other.

And like we said, we'll leave at least one car on the far side near Fig Garden Village, in case anyone decides not to take the walk back.

I'm getting pretty excited! The weather's clearing up nicely this week, too! This is going to be great!
